Welcome to Central Florida Landscaping and Maintenance, Inc where we have been “growing relationships and beautiful landscapes” in Florida since 1989. We offer a wide variety of “Florida-Friendly” landscape services, from design and installation to maintenance, Central Florida Landscaping will help you create and maintain your landscape in a “Florida-Friendly” fashion. These landscapes can be lush beautiful gardens full of colorful blooms and thick with foliage, they can be distinctive or wild let us help you design a dream yard that benefits your own personal space and our fragile environment.                                                                                                                          
 

“Florida-Friendly” does not necessarily mean Xeriscape you do not have to design an Arizona desert landscape for your yard to be “Florida-Friendly”. We understand the Nine Principles of “Florida-Friendly” landscapes and can help you apply them to your needs. Our goal is to design and build for you a “Florida-Friendly” landscape that is both beautiful and useful to your needs all the while benefiting the environment. We can achieve this by helping you to drastically reduce the amount of water used to irrigate the landscape, or by reducing the amount of fertilizer and pest control products used in your landscape. We can incorporate plants in your landscape that will benefit local wildlife by providing food or shelter. We can design your yard so that we can manage the surface water runoff as not to carry pollutants into local bodies of water via sewer systems. If you desire we can set aside an area in your landscape for composting reducing the waste that is currently being land filled and providing a source of nutrient rich free material to be used in your garden’s bedding areas.

 

Together we can manage your yard in a “Florida-Friendly” manner as well. Our crews will monitor your yard for any potential problems such as pests or diseases weekly so that all potential problems are caught while they are still small problems, and together we can decide on a course of treatment. We would rather treat just the problem area with a natural remedy rather than blanketing the entire landscape with a pesticide. 

We at Central Florida Landscaping and Maintenance, Inc. are trying to do our part as well we have gone from using plastic garbage bags to using sheets of burlap to collect the trimmings not being composted on our clients properties to reduce the amount of non-biodegradable material in local landfills. Whenever possible our crews use manual shears rather than gas powered shears to trim plants. We are currently exploring alternative fuel powered lawn mowers to replace our gas powered mowers.
